What goes on your glass
Ceramic film carries tiny ceramic particles that absorb and turn away infrared heat while letting visible light through. Nothing in it is metallic, so phones, GPS, LTE and keyless entry work as normal. Union Ceramic IR, Union's top car film, rejects 87% of infrared heat and blocks 99.99% of UV.
The ceramic does the heat work, so even a light shade that keeps the front doors legal in Indiana still makes the cabin noticeably cooler, and you can go darker behind them. It suits long commutes over the river into Louisville, black interiors, EVs and glass roofs. Union Carbon IR, by comparison, rejects 75% of infrared heat.

Indiana tint law · IC 9-19-19-4Indiana allows any of our ceramic shades on the side windows behind the front doors, a lighter shade that lets at least 30% of light through on the front doors and back window, and a ceramic strip across the top of the windshield.

Call, book, we roll up

Tell us your car
Share the car, how hot it gets and the look you're after. We'll recommend ceramic shades for each window and send a clear quote.

Choose the place
Pick a weekday time. Drive to our garage studio, or book mobile tinting and we set up on your driveway or at your workplace.

Ceramic goes on
The glass is cleaned, film is cut to every window and applied, then the water is pressed out and each edge finished close.
- 04
Cooler from day one
We check each window with you, explain curing, and hand back a car that feels cooler the very first time it sits in the sun.
Leave the windows rolled up for 3 to 5 days so the film can cure. Some haze or small water pockets while it dries are normal; when cleaning, use an ammonia-free cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth.
